Project origin

This economic design project was carried out during my Master cycle at Artline Institute. The objective was to design the environment and economic architecture of a free to play game, after having quickly designed the game concept.

Designing the economic system of a game is a very good experience in learning Game Design. The two systems are intimately linked.

For example, the distribution of feature unlocks is essential for retention. If we want to keep the player for the long term, he must have interesting features to unlock.
